Biografi

Hege Clemm is a professor and Head of the Department of Sports Medicine at the Norwegian School of Sport Sciences in Oslo. She is a pediatrician and certified sports physician (Nimf), and completed her PhD at the University of Bergen on Exercise Capacity after extremely preterm birth. For the past ten years, she has been a sport physician at Olympiatoppen Vest, and has served as the national team doctor for triathlon since 2019. Clemm has been a member of the medical advisory team for Anti-Doping Norway since 2017. In 2024, she was elected as Chair of the Norwegian Association for Sports Medicine and Physical Activity. She is actively engaged in research regarding respiratory distress, especially during activity, and was part of the IOC's medical consensus on respiratory illness in athletes. In 2023, she was elected to lead the Global Initiative for Inducible Laryngeal Obstruction (GIILO).
